What is the process to start your own business?
I want to get a tax I.D. # and get a name, but I do not know how or where to start? I would like to buy catalytic converters from junk yards then recycle them for their precious metals they contain inside. My local junk yard said I needed a special liscense to do so. I live in Texas and am lost in this dillema. PLEASE HELP!!!
First you are going to have to find out what that special liscense is. Your state government should have a buruea of liscenses or something like that. They will be able to provide information on obtaining the liscense. Your state department of revenue should be able to provide information on getting the tax id.
