Does NYC recycle plastic grocery bags?
Can I put regular plastic grocery bags (HDPE Type 2) in the plastic recycle bin in NYC?
Did not find any info on DSNY’s website.

Haven’t seen any recycle bins for used plastic bags in NYC. (There’s no Walmart here either) So what do the stores do with the plastic bags collected? Are they sent to private recycling facilities?

It says no plastic bags. Most grocery stores and Walmarts recycle plastic bags.
